The adhesive that bonds the print to the garment
Hot melt adhesive powder is shaken over the wet ink on the film, then cured so it melts into a bonding layer. When you press the transfer, that layer is what holds the design to the fabric. Get the grade wrong and prints feel stiff or peel at the edges. We run this powder on our own line, which is why we offer it in five grades instead of one.
Grades
- Medium fine, BC04 M. The one most shops start with and the one we reach for by default. Suits thin films and most everyday garments.
- Super fine. For fine detail and thin lines.
- Super soft. For the softest hand feel on lightweight garments.
- Medium. A general purpose grade for heavier fabrics.
- Anti sublimation. For polyester and sublimated garments where dye migration is a problem.
Sizes
1 kg, 2 kg, 5 kg and 20 kg packs, so a one printer shop and a production floor can both buy the amount that makes sense.
